I'm sorry I wasn't able to respond/ help you with the questions you had about the shawl pattern-- I have mono, so I've basically just been sleeping whenever I'm home because work and school are kicking my butt. If you have any more questions, I'll try my best to help, but you are such a smart girl! I'm sure you will figure it out!
